Pisgah Covered Bridge
Today I took pictures of a small covered bridge here in NC. A sign promotes the bridge off of US 220 about 8 miles south of Ashboro. That means it is about a 30 minute drive for me from Ellerbe. But I decided to go this morning so I got in my car and drove to the exit. When I got off the exit I had to drive and make several turns to finally reach the bridge. It is at least 10 miles off of 220. As I kept driving deeper into the country I could almost hear banjo music from "Deliverance" in the background. But when I finally found the little bridge I felt it was worth it and while there several other people came to take pictures. It truly is a nice spot. Hope you enjoy the pictures.

I took this picture with the built-in HDR setting in my camera.

I really did like the bridge so much I intend on taking my family to see it. I love photography.

Ellerbe Koi Pond
I haven't added anything to this in awhile so I thought I would today. A lady in my church has nice Koi pond that she has put a lot of effort into so she allowed me to take some photos of the pond and the Koi. It is nice and peaceful place.

I don't know how many Koi she has but it is quite a few. They come "running" when she brings food.
I believe it would be wonderful spot to relax and meditate. Hope you enjoy the photos.

More Around The House & Charleston, SC
Today some more photos from around the house. The only thing not from around my home is the photo of the ducks. I saw them walking across a parking right in the middle of Rockingham, NC. It pays to have a camera with you because you don't know what you might see.

These next photos I took while on a walk around my daughter's neighborhood in Charleston, SC. We were there for her baby shower. The one of the fountain that looks like a painting I was able to do in my Pentax Kx using one of its built in filters. I love this camera.
